Описание: The Drainage we followed branched off of the East Inlet running along the Hunters Pass Trail. We followed it up until there was a major fork and went left to head up to the bottom of the V Slide...aka "North Fork"... In the book the Adirondack Slide Guide the correct name for the Vis North Fork and the Pitchfork is the South Fork... Since we climbed the slides in between them we call them the Triangle Slides which is a name I would like to make official. We jumped off the V to go down the First of the Triangles and then across at the bottom. Up the Second Triangle slide and then back down before crossing over to the Pitchfork.. The reason we named them the Triangle Slides is because the GPS track of going up and down ano across creates a Triangle. After the top of the pitchfork we has a very thick bushwhack to the summit of Dix Mountain.
