Would you take your cattle dogs hiking across a lava landscape? 🌋🐾
We decided to find out while exploring El Malpais National Monument in New Mexico — a rugged, otherworldly place shaped by ancient lava flows, sandstone arches, and wide open views.
This park is dog-friendly (on leash), and our cattle dogs handled the uneven lava terrain like champs. In this vlog, we share the trails we explored, scenic overlooks, a few fun facts, and some honest moments along the way.
