But when talking about an artist as well-known as Nolan, what more is there to say? Given the chance, what would Sidney say if we could chat with him today?
Art Works’ Lisa Skerrett visited Melbourne’s Heidi Museum to explore a video work by Dean Cross.
‘Sometimes I miss the applause’ intertwines the personas of Nolan and Cross. And although Nolan died in 1992, he was still kind enough to sit down with Lisa for a chat about his appearance in Cross’s work.
