Tucked between the mountainous terrain of Olympic National Park and the Pacific Northwest’s windswept beaches is a little town called Forks, Washington.
The fictional setting for Twilight, you won’t find any vampires or werewolves here, little lamb. But there is some scary good stuff in the woods, like two big loops circling about a dozen enduro downhill trails.
Situated in one of the only true rainforests in the USA, Forks’ mountain bike trails are a treat if you’re willing to make the trip. And, of course, the Lauf Elja is the perfect mountain bike to ride them - designed for ripping the descents, then efficiently climbing back up to do the next one.
