In this video, I share how I’m treating spider mites on my Alocasia Jacklyn (Alocasia tandurusa). I purchased this rare plant in February 2025, and while it was still in isolation I discovered a spider mite infestation. Luckily, I caught it early before introducing it to the rest of my collection.
You’ll see me:
• Introduce the Alocasia Jacklyn, a rare tropical houseplant known for its deeply lobed leaves and striking dark veins.
• Apply a pest spray for spider mites and explain the process.
• Return after 10 minutes to wipe down the leaves as directed.
