Sometimes all we need is to take a little extra time in the morning for a simple mindfulness practice in order to get our day started well. This simple mindfulness practice for a good day is just about 8 minutes and will allow you to ease into your day while being reminded that your breath can act as your calming anchor when life becomes too much. Morning meditations can be a wonderful addition to your routine, as they allow us to cultivate mindful awareness with an increasing ability to stay aware and intentional with our thoughts, emotions and behaviors through the day.
This guided meditation is created by Katie McLaughlin, LPCC-S, founder of Cedar Rose Counseling & Wellness—a holistic therapy practice specializing in anxiety treatment for women.
