It starts with a glance under neon lights outside a smoky venue. Across the street stands a man too handsome for his own good, exuding confidence he clearly doesn’t deserve. His smirk is cocky, his posture relaxed, but little does he know, he’s already been chosen. By the time their eyes meet, it’s already too late.

What follows is a dance as old as rock ‘n’ roll itself: seduction wrapped in danger, passion laced with peril. In the shadows of a dimly lit alleyway, Mickie leans close, her black hair cascading over her shoulder like a velvet curtain. Her nails, long, black, sharp like tiny fangs, trail lightly along his skin, carving into his neck, leaving faint glowing marks that shimmer like secrets only she can read. He thinks he’s in control, but every word she whispers pulls him deeper into her web.

Backstage after the show, the air thick with sweat and smoke, Mickie makes her move. With one hand gripping his neck and a smirk sharp enough to cut glass, she claims what’s hers. The band watches indifferently from the sidelines; this isn’t their first rodeo. As dawn breaks over a dingy motel room, Mickie reclines on rumpled sheets, dragging her nails lazily across the bare shoulder of her latest conquest. But something’s different now, a golden dust starts to engulf his body. Underneath it, he starts to shrink.

“Did you think I’d let you walk away?” she asks rhetorically. Then she gives him one last kiss and devours him casually.

By sunrise, all that remains are scattered remnants: a jacket here, a watch there, shoes, pants, his body dissolving into nothingness in Mickies stomach. Mickie walks away without looking back, lighting a cigarette as the tour bus burns.

She doesn’t like sharing, and why should she? Once she’s had her fill, there’s no room left for anyone else.
