At just seven years old, Megan has achieved an extraordinary milestone by summiting Mount Kenya’s third-highest peak — Point Lenana, standing proudly at 4,985 metres above sea level. In completing the ascent in just 28 hours, she becomes the youngest Seychellois in the nation’s history to reach this remarkable height.
Facing the harsh cold with tiny frozen hands and shedding a few tears along the way, Megan pushed forward with determination far beyond her years. She refused to give up, driven by her long-held dream of earning her summit medal and discovering for herself what the top of Point Lenana felt like. Today, that medal is finally hers.
Speaking after her accomplishment, Megan shared a message for young dreamers everywhere: “Don’t let your dreams be just dreams — do it.”
