🤔Problem: Miss O. suffered a stroke and is dealing with hyperextension of the knee. As you can see on the video, her knee join extends beyond its normal range. It makes walking difficult and unstable, bringing additional strain to the joint and increasing further risks of falls and injury.
💡Solution:
The UTX-ESF (integration of an UTX FREE with an AFO) addresses this challenge by stabilising the knee joint and preventing excessive movement. This KAFO guarantees both knee and ankle support, allowing the leg to stay within a safe range. The dynamic hinge in the SWING provides Miss O. with more control and stability when walking 💚
