1 Teaspoon (1/6oz) Simple Syrup
2-3 Dashes Angostura Bitters

METHOD: stir & strain over ice
GLASSWARE: double old-fashioned
GARNISH: lemon twist

IMPROVED WHISKEY COCKTAIL
2oz Rye Whiskey
1/4oz Maraschino Liqueur
1 Teaspoon (1/6oz) Simple Syrup
2-3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
2 Dashes Absinthe

METHOD: stir & strain over ice
GLASSWARE: double old-fashioned
GARNISH: orange twist

KENTUCKY RIVER
2oz Bourbon
1/2oz Creme de Cacao
2-3 Dashes Peach Bitters
