Upgrading the S&W M&P10

Описание: In this video, we take the Smith and Wesson M&P10 .308 from our previous baseline range test and fully upgrade it from tip to butt. This is the budget large frame AR that surprised us in stock form, and now we are turning it into a more capable AR-10 style .308 rifle with better furniture, a free float handguard, improved trigger, and a suppressor-ready muzzle device.

We start by clearing the rifle and stripping the factory parts. On the lower, we install the Brownells exclusive Geissele G2SE trigger, swap the end plate for a Midwest Industries QD end plate, properly stake the castle nut, and add OD green furniture including the Die Free Co Kung Fu grip and a Magpul DT stock. On the upper, we remove the factory barrel nut and gas block, clean and re-grease the barrel extension, torque on the Midwest Industries barrel nut, and install a BCM steel low profile gas block and a Midwest Industries free float M-LOK handguard sized correctly for the low profile receiver height.

To finish the build, we add Midwest Industries iron sights, a SureFire three prong flash hider with Rocksett and shims for suppressor use, an ambidextrous Breek Warhammer charging handle, rail covers, a bipod, a Die Free Co Tiger Claw hand stop, and we mount a Trijicon Credo 1-8 as the optic. Then we head back to Big Springs and run the rifle from 100 yards out to 500 yards in heavy, unpredictable wind to see what changed.
