A comforting dish it is made of potato and cooked in a thick creamy yogurt curry. Simple, quick and made with just a handful of ingredients its a good addition to any meal.

Ingredients:

Spicy Yogurt sauce -
1 cup Yogurt / Curd
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Salt (as required)
1 tsp Cumin powder

Potato seasoning -
10 to 12 Baby potatoes (wash and peeled) OR regular potatoes, chopped into 1 inch size
2 tbsp Cooking oil
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp Salt (as required)
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

For making Curry -
3 to 4 tbsp Cooking oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
3 Dried red chillies
1 Bay leaf
3 Cloves
2 Green cardamom
1 sprig (6 to 8) Curry leaves
3 medium Green chili, slit
1 tbsp Crushed Ginger and garlic
1.5 cups Onion, chopped
1 cup Tomatoes, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves
Water

Garnishing:
Fresh Cilantro / coriander leaves, chopped
