This helps us in exploring the evolving relationship between communities and the natural world, challenging the long-held belief that conservation and human progress must stand in opposition.
By reimagining these boundaries, we can move from fear and competition toward balance and shared spaces.
Blending science, storytelling, and lived realities from the frontlines of conservation, this invites us to see wildlife not as intruders, but as co-inhabitants of a shared planet. It calls for responsibility rooted in empathy and policy guided by coexistence rather than control.
Dr. Anish Andheria is the President and CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT).He has been awarded several prestigious Awards for his contributions in wildlife photography. He has co-authored two books on Indian wildlife and has contributed to several other books and publications, including scientific papers.
