𝗡𝗢 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚: Police Order Group Out From Under Santa Monica Pier

Описание: SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Thursday, March 5, 2026 — Santa Monica police officers conducted enforcement activity beneath the Santa Monica Pier after encountering several individuals in an area clearly marked with “No Trespassing Under Pier” signage.

During the patrol, officers contacted a man who was seated beneath the pier structure. Officers briefly detained the individual while conducting a background check. After confirming his information, officers issued the man an advisal and instructed him that the area beneath the pier is restricted. He was then directed to leave the area.

The posted signage warns that individuals are not permitted beneath the pier and that violators may face prosecution under Santa Monica Municipal Code §3.36.110, which restricts entry into posted areas beneath the structure.

Officers also contacted three other couples who were observed sitting beneath the pier. Police informed them that remaining under the pier was not permitted and that failure to leave could result in a citation.

All individuals complied with the officers’ instructions and left the area without further incident.
