Standing Cable Crunch – Brief Description:
Setup:
Attach a rope handle to a high pulley on a cable machine.
Stand facing away from the machine, feet shoulder-width apart.
Grab the rope handles and pull them down beside your ears or just above your shoulders.
Movement:
Engage your core and slightly bend your knees.
Crunch your torso downward by contracting your abs — think of bringing your ribcage toward your hips.
Keep your hips mostly still (avoid bending too much at the waist).
Return:
Slowly return to the starting position with control, keeping tension on your abs.
Tips:
Focus on using your abdominal muscles, not your arms.
Keep a steady, controlled motion — no jerking.
