Two days, dedicated volunteers, 110 patients served, and 95 hearing aids fitted. A&E Audiology and Hearing Aid Center, Inc. was honored to partner with Fundación Sonrisas Que Escuchan to give the gift of hearing in Panajachel, Guatemala.
Located along Lake Atitlán, Panajachel serves many rural and underserved communities where access to hearing healthcare is limited by geography, poverty, and education. Continuing a long-standing commitment to humanitarian care, Dr. Kamal Elliot led the A&E Audiology team to support Guatemala’s only audiologist, Dr. Paty Castellanos, helping provide life-changing hearing care to those who need it most.
