In this episode of the ’62 Dodge Dart build, we prep the door for primer — and this is where the 4-door to 2-door transformation really starts to show.
Chad uses guide coat to reveal the imperfections, sands everything down, applies a bit more filler where needed, and begins laying down primer. It’s a longer episode because this step matters. The prep work is what makes the final paint job look right.
Cash jumps in to help with sanding and also tackles a few small welds that needed tightening up around the door area.
This is the stage where patience pays off — and the Dart starts looking less like a project and more like a finished car.
