I went through an emotional rollercoaster making this piece. There were so many highs and lows, but it was a significant learning experience for me. I've slowly learned that the longer I spend time with the canvas, the better I get to know myself. As of late, my practice has almost been a reflection of who I am, and I've noticed that on tough days like these, I need to allow myself more grace and patience. I learned that the quicker route isn't always the best path. Soaking in every moment in the process, whether accomplishments or failures, we should find time to embrace them more.
