Описание: Critiques can often leave us unmotivated and not wanting to work. Constantly being questioned about why we make our work can sometimes be confusing to the artists themselves. Stepping back and getting inspiration from the world around us usually helps me escape that art rut after a long crit. My friend had a book opening this weekend, and it was exactly what I needed after my critique. Being out reminded me that, as artists, we put so much pressure on ourselves. After all, we're constantly being judged; however, at the end of the day, we're the ones making the work, and if we're happy doing what we love, that's all that truly matters. Being surrounded by a supportive friend group and a strong art community is essential for success!
