Описание: Preparation for research at ICON (step 3/3).
Soon, you will be taking part in an ICON medicine related research study. No later than two working days before the start of this study, we will contact you by phone.

Keep to the terms and read through the information booklet again at home. It also states what you need to bring. At the appointed time you will come to our research centre for the following programme:

A brief assessment to see if anything has changed in your health status
A tour and introduction to other participants
Explanation of the study and daily plan
Eating with other participants
Time to yourself

The next day, the results of the brief assessments will be known. Based on these results, the doctor determines who can actually participate. Thus, it is still possible that you are unable to take part at the last minute. Are you able to participate? This means that you stay and the study can start:

With the doctor or nurse present, you will be administered the trial drug.
The doctors and nurses will observe you closely. They will regularly check your temperature, blood pressure, blood and urine.
You will also have plenty of time for games, films, series, gaming or studies. During studies involving longer stays, outings are also included.
