Gran Turismo 7 - Moby Dick Missions Gold Medal Guide

Описание: Welcome to my guide for getting all gold medals for the Moby Dick Missions on Gran Turismo 7!

This is where the missions start to get interesting and a little more difficult.
The Drag Race and Drifting Missions are a little trickier in this set of missions but they shouldn’t be to hard to complete.
This set of missions also has 1 full race in it with mixed conditions, its not to difficult but be patient with it as the conditions change frequently.
The last few missions can be a little tricky so be consistent with your driving and also be patient, if you’re struggling to complete them and getting frustrated take a break then come back and try again.

Mission 1: Downhill Trial (The Pass) - 0:05

Mission 2: Pit in or Stay Out 1 (Tsukuba Circuit - 30 Laps) -    • Gran Turismo 7 - 30 Lap Tsukuba Race Moby ...  

Mission 3: 0-400m Acceleration Battle 2 (Drag Race) - 2:20
You shouldn’t need anything to powerful to complete this mission but I go through the details of a setup and car that I use for all drag race missions.
Car Used: Nissan GTR Nismo 17
Tyres Used: Racing Soft
Buy all power upgrades that you can, including Nitrous.
Setup changes: As shown in the video the changes i make to the car are reducing downforce to the minimum, increased the nitrous output to max. Change the torque - vectoring centre differential to 50:50. I adjust the transmission to a max speed of 360k/h the reason for this is because we want short gearing. If I’m missing anything just follow exactly what my setup is in the video and copy it to yours and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Tips for doing the mission: Apply a small amount of brake so you don’t jump start, the first few gears you need to short shift to make sure the car doesn’t spin out, once you hit 3rd/4th Gear start using your nitrous.

Mission 4: Pylon Cone Knockdown 2 (Cone Challenge) - 4:03
This Cone Challenge is a little bit difficult, to get rotation out of the car apply some handbrake but not to much otherwise you will spin out, it took a little bit of trial and error until I did this one so be patient and you will get the hang of it.

Mission 5: Intermediate Drifting 1 (Drift Mission) - 4:45
I turn off counter-steering completely when drifting but this personal preference and you should use whatever feels good for your driving style.

Mission 6: Mark the fastest lap with minimum fuel 2 (Eco Challenge) - 5:37
Set the fuel level to mix 2 and you shouldn’t have any issues with completing the mission, I rain out of fuel about 200m from the finish line but still managed to get a gold medal by half a second. I didn’t do any fuel saving throughout the lap either.

Mission 7: Overtaking in a mixed class race 1 (The Pass) - 8:39

Mission 8: Honda Showdown (One Lap Magic) - 11:28
