In this video I show you every race in this week’s Weekly Challenge for January Week 2 2026. I will show you my car setups, strategies and any notes I have for each race.

Races, Car Setups & Strategies for this week are:

Sunday Cup Classic: Brands Hatch Indy Circuit
Car Choice: Mazda Demio Touring ‘15

A lot of the classic cars used for this race are not always available in the used car dealership or legends dealership so I decided to go with a car you can buy from Brand Central, its not a classic car but it gets the job done. If you have a classic car and you want to use it, go for it.
Strategy: No strategy required.

Japanese FF Challenge 450: Tokyo Expressway Central Counterclockwise
Car Choice: Suzuki Swift Sport ‘17

Strategy: No strategy required.

Time Trial: Circuit de Spa Francorchamps
This is a time trial event featuring the Renault F1 Espace F1 ’95. You will be only racing Sector 2 of the track for this time trial. I show both my front bumper cam and chase cam to hopefully make it easier to see where I brake and what gears I use for each corner. I did zero practice before doing this time trial so I can’t see it being too difficult to complete.
Strategy: No strategy required.
NOTE: This car is purchased through the ‘Legend Cars’ dealership and isn’t currently available. Keep an eye out as it should become available sometime throughout the week. I still don’t understand why Polyphony continue to add events to the weekly challenges that require cars from the Legend Cars dealership but don’t make it available for purchase.

Porsche Cup: Circuit de Spa Francorchamps
Car Choice: Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) ‘22

Strategy: No strategy required.
NOTE: This race has a medium/ high chance of rain however it shouldn’t impact your race. There is a small chance that it’s heavy enough rain that it could be an issue. If this happens my advice is to back out to the main menu of the game and then try the race again, doing this resets the weather and it will be completely different to the last race. If it keeps raining hard every time you reset I suggest swapping to Sports Soft Tyres and adding some power back in the car setup, this setup should not have any impact on whether it rains or not.

World Touring Car 700: Deep Forest Raceway
Car Choice: Lamborghini Huracan Gr.4

My Brake Balance is set to -2 for this race, this is personal preference and not required.
Strategy: Start the race of racing hard tyres, put the fuel to level 6 and keep it there the rest of the race. Pit on lap 7 and only add 3 laps fuel, DO NOT change tyres.
This strategy can also be done on racing medium tyres if you’re confident with tyre wear. Don’t let the car rev out too much, this will be cause unnecessary fuel usage. If you can’t make it to the end of lap 7 for fuel you can pit at the end of lap 6 and add 4 laps of fuel, the strategy remains the same its just done one lap earlier.
