The usual trajectory of a musician’s career is usually their first album is their best or one of the next few are.
It’s not known that an artist gets better with every album, especially, 46 years later!
But this is Peter Perrett. He doesn’t follow rules. Out of the picture for decades he finally emerged and conquered his demons to bring us not one but three amazing solo albums in the last 7 years; each better than than the last.
But it looks like his newest, “The Cleansing” which is a double Lp, soon to be released, is set to be his best.
No one has a voice similar to him, or a self reflective honesty of his charms and shortcomings in his lyrics more than him.
He is truly unique and here is a track from the forthcoming LP to prove it.
