1/18 Ferrari 250 GTO 1962 LeMans GT class winner by Kyosho

Описание: 250 GTO was launched in 1962, and sn3705GT car went on to win 250 GTO's debut LeMans race that year in GT class, and also became the 2nd overall, behind another Ferrari (not 250 GTO). Not only this 250 GTO won the GT class, 3 other GTOs that year made to the top 6 finishes. #19 wearing car was Jean Guichet and Pierre Noblet's racer. It created history, and this GTO along with the other examples went on to win one after another GT Class over the next few years, eventually making the 250 GTO one of the most iconic and most admired Ferraris of all time.

They say, each and every GTO is unique, no 2 pieces were built the same. This #19 has its unique touches, for example the districting wind deflector on the driver's side hood scoop, rear fender vent covers, rear lights placed on a raised platform to allow better visibility from the sides, etc. Kyosho faithfully recreated those.

There are mismatches as well. The original #19 car at the race did not wear the Ferrari horse logo on the front grille. Kyosho's one does. Some also argue over the nosecone shape. However I still feel this piece is one of the better 250 GTOs to keep in one's collection.
