Описание: Growing up gay in a religious family is something a lot of people experience quietly, but rarely talk about openly. In this video, I share my honest experience of being gay in a Muslim household and what that reality has been like for me emotionally and mentally.

I talk about being taught from a young age that being gay was morally wrong, knowing something was “wrong” with me before I even understood my sexuality, learning to hide parts of myself for safety, and loving your family while knowing their acceptance has limits.

This video is not about attacking religion or family. It’s about sharing the lived experience of growing up gay in a religious background, for anyone who feels alone, confused, or unseen.
