In this technique, we start in closed guard against a standing opponent. Maintain your closed guard and secure an underhook on your opponent’s leg. Use a strong bridge toward their knee to buckle their base and force them to fall to the mat.
As your opponent lands and begins to defend the mount by posting their arm, we transition immediately to a belly-down armbar. Control the arm, pivot your hips, and finish with tight leg control and downward pressure.
