This Childers Hidden Gem Blew Us Away!

Описание: We’re rolling south again! After leaving Townsville, we started the journey back to Brisbane, stopping first at Barracrab Caravan Park for a windy overnighter before continuing down the coast.

Our next stop was Yeppoon — a beautiful seaside town we missed on the way up. We spent a few days relaxing, exploring the beaches, visiting Shell World Yeppoon, and enjoying a delicious seafood lunch. If you’re planning a road trip through Central Queensland, Yeppoon is well worth the stop!

From there, we made our way to the hidden gem near Childers — Eureka Station Camping Retreat. This place honestly blew us away. We met up with friends for a couple of nights filled with good company, beers around the fire, campfire cooking and swimming in the stunning freshwater pond. If you’re looking for peaceful bush camping in Queensland, Eureka Station is the spot.

After saying goodbye, we continued to Hangar O for a quick overnighter with another cosy fire and a relaxing hammock session, before spending one last night on the road and heading into Brisbane for our next stay at Leafy Lane Lakes. We’ve visited a few times recently — perfect for watching the jet skis and enjoying our final campfire for a while.
