Ever wonder if you really need expensive off-road tires?
I took my stock F-150 with regular GoodYear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires onto some rocky Colorado trails and was honestly surprised at the performance. Turns out, the right tire for the terrain matters more than the price.
It's a common misconception that you need expensive tires for tackling rocky terrain. The compound in an A/T tire is much softer than a mud tire which allows for more grip. A cheaper all terrain tire is just as good as a premium tire in my opinion and keeps trail riding more affordable.
