Catty-Cornered is a classic 1966 Tom and Jerry animated short directed by Abe Levitow and produced by Chuck Jones, originally released on September 8, 1966. In this comedic cartoon, Jerry lives in a wall that separates two apartments—one with Tom and the other with a second cat. To survive, Jerry cleverly manipulates the situation by making the two cats unknowingly fight each other using ambushes, gadgets, and explosive gags. The battle escalates from fly swatters to cannons and grenades until both cats eventually give up and leave, with Jerry following them cheerfully.
