In this refreshing episode, we create a Yogurt & Fruit Parfait with a Spice Medley, a wholesome breakfast or snack layered with yogurt, fresh fruit, and warm aromatic spices. It’s a simple, nourishing recipe that highlights how small choices can elevate daily eating.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Greek Yogurt
2 Cups of Fresh, Mixed Berries
2 Tbsp of Golden Flax Seeds
¼ tsp of Cinnamon
¼ tsp of Cloves
¼ tsp of White Cardamom
4 Sprigs of Fresh Mint
Method:
1. Divide the yogurt between four glass parfait cups.
2. Top each with berries.
3. Place flax and spices in a spice grinder (or cleaned coffee grinder).
4. Process 20-30 seconds until flax is pulverized.
5. Sprinkle 1 heaping teaspoon of ground flax on top of the berries for each portion.
6. Garnish with a mint leaf/sprig and serve immediately.
