Trains Interrupt Special Event, 3 Cool Railroad Crossings, BIG Trains W/DPUs, CSX & Norfolk Southern

Описание: Awesome Railway Crossings, HUGE Trains With Mid Train Locomotives (DPU), Norfolk Southern Railroad & CSX Railroad & Special Event Gets Interrupted By Trains In Hamilton, Ohio. Includes Wells Fargo Rail leased locomotives on NS. The trains in this video were filmed in Hamilton and just north of Hamilton.
First we take a look at the event that is getting set up. This is a special event put on by the local churches and is called "Hope For Hamilton". It is an event that recognises the drug problems in the area and is trying to support those who need support. I got to film a northbound CSX manifest with a brand new steel coils car. This train was huge and was right at the NS interchange.
Then we go to the northern section of Hamilton to a couple of railroad crossings that I don't film at very often. First we see a southbound NS manifest with a mid train DPU. That train was a Monster! Right after it passed, I noticed a northbound train approaching very slowly. I decided to drive a little further north to get that train at a crossing that has some ancient signals still in use.
I was going to quit for the day but when I drove back through downtown, I noticed a NS manifest running northbound on the CSX. This train was a Monster with a DPU midtrain. Just to the left of this train when it is approaching you can see the NS New Castle Sub. This is the interchange.
Then I went to the event to see if any trains would go by while it was on. Sure enough, there were several! The line got busy. I put up parts of the trains and one of the trains had a Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit on the rear as a DPU. That was cool watching it go by with a dragster in the foreground. Notice the Pam Am boxcar also. The trains were so loud that you could hear them over the presenters. I couldn't help but wonder how many railfans were in the audience.
