Abandoned RR Tracks At 4 Track Crossing, BIG Coal Train Almost 1,000 Axles & Trains Cross Trestle!

Описание: Nearly 1,000 Axle Coal Train Passes Recently Abandoned Railroad Tracks AT 4 Track Crossing. CSX Mixed Freight Knocks Down The Signal, Norfolk Southern Trains Cross Giant Railroad Bridge Over Town & Fast Coal Train Goes Under Bridge. These trains are in Ashland, Kentucky and Kenova, West Virginia. We also have a CSX mixed freight with 6 locomotives.
The 4 track railroad crossing recently had 2 of the tracks abandoned and removed. Due to local steel mills closing these tracks were no longer needed. This is Ashland, Kentucky next to the Amtrak station. The 2 main trains are still fairly busy with CSX and Amtrak, although Amtrak only makes 3 round trips a week. Look how long that first coal train was! Pretty cool how just 2 locomotives can pull that much and at that speed. The next train is a CSX mixed freight and we see it pass the signals. Notice two of the signals change to red as it passes.
Then we go outside of Ashland on the same line and see a train with 6 locomotives heading east. This train was actually filmed first when it was still sunny out.
After that I headed over to Kenova, West Virginia. We see a Norfolk Southern train coming over the gigantic bridge from Ohio into Kenova. This mixed freight has a DPU on the rear.
The next train is a loaded coal train on the CSX going under the bridge heading towards Ashland, Kentucky. Right after that train is another train going over the big railroad bridge on Norfolk Southern.
