This year marks 10 years since I was diagnosed with leukemia.
To mark that milestone, we ran 100 kilometres in one day to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation and together we raised over $25,000.
We started at 1:00AM and ran through to the end of the day.
Ten years ago, my life looked very different. This run was about perspective, gratitude and giving back to young kids and their families who are still in the middle of their fight.
What Riley didn’t know was that the final lap wasn’t just about finishing the 100km. Later that night, I proposed.
Thank you to every single person who donated, ran laps, showed up, shared the event and supported the cause. The impact goes far beyond the day itself.
