The American March Brown Dun Recipe
Hook: #10 standard dry fly
Thread: Orange or Fluorescent Orange 6/0
Wings: Dark heavily marked wood-duck flank
Tail: Brown hackle or Coq de Leon
Body: Original from Preston Jennings called for tan fur from the belly of a red fox mixed with tan fur from a hare's poll. Eric mixes the tan fox fur and Trouthunter tannish yellow dubbing to give a slightly yellow cast
Hackle: Brown and Grizzly mixed
