The New South Wales main southern line between Sydney and Albury (646km or 401 miles) is usually busy with interstate and regional freight, along with grain trains and a few passenger trains each day. Most of the trains usually run at night but there is plenty to see in the early morning and late afternoon. Over two winter days this is what was around between Gunning and Yass. Unfortunately there wasn't any grain trains drains during daylight hours on these two days.
