Hello friends. If you made it this far I thank you for. What we have in this video is a piece of L&NE railroad.
What is now a small section of East Shore Dr. on the south side of Minsi Lake used to be part of the Lehigh and New England railroad mainline. The history of the L&NE is confusing and I believe is built on some of the bed built as the South Mountain Railroad, later the Pennsylvania Poughkeepsie and Boston. I could be way off however perhaps some of the stone work we see here is from there one of those early endeavors?
Regardless this is still a neat piece of hidden history.
