On this hike and photowalk of Eagle Lake Trail, we explore Eagle Lake, Upper Eagle Falls, Eagle Creek in beautiful wintertime. Eagle Lake is a short 2.4 mile out and back trail in the Lake Tahoe Basin and Desolation Wilderness. The trail is usually hard packed in the winter, so it makes for some great winter hiking. Good snow shoes or microspikes are needed.
