Hi and welcome to this POV tour around the CBD area and surrounding streets of Greymouth the largest town on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.
Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island and is primary a industrial town with commercial fishing and tourism being the main industries along with manufacturing and milling and timber exports and coal mining in the surrounding areas of the Greymouth region.
Greymouth is also the destination of the world famous Tranz Alpine passenger tourist trail that runs from Christchurch on the East Coast of the South Island across the main divide and trough the spectacular Southern Alps mountain range through to the lush wetlands on the West Coast through to Greymouth on the Wild West Coast.
Greymouth is also the Start/Finish point of the West Coast Wilderness cycle trail that follows the coast line south of Greymouth then heads inland to Kumara then to lake Kaniere through to Hokitika then south from Hokitika to the settlement of Ross.
