Mother Mountain and Castle Peak - Washington State

Описание: Mother Mountain is a multi-summit mountain within Mt. Rainier National Park. It has one of the very best views of the north face of majestic Mt. Rainier and the surrounding terrain. In this video, we take an unmaintained trail from the popular Mowich Lake to Knapsack Pass. Then we continue on a long a scrambler’s route to First Mother Mountain. After relishing in the fantastic view, we continue, taking another scrambler’s route along a ridge line to remote Castle Peak, north of Mother Mountain. While most visitors flock to several destinations within Mt. Rainier National Park, it is comforting to know that there are still places you can go within the park to experience the awe and grandeur of Mt. Rainier in solitude.
