Moolock Mountain - Washington State

Описание: Moolock Mountain is a quiet, less-visited summit in the central Cascades, offering rewarding panoramic views of the surrounding ridges and peaks. For this hike, we approached from the east via Bessemer Road, turning off at a gap in the ridge, and at about 4,150 feet, we began scrambling along the ridge crest toward the summit. The route includes a few scree sections and some brush, but it’s mostly straightforward class 2 scrambling. The main crux occurs at 4,367 feet, where the terrain steepens and becomes more challenging, especially when covered in snow. The weather was ideal—clear skies and warm sunshine—giving the day more of an early spring-hike feel than a winter outing.
