It's been a long time in the making but I'm really happy with this 1880's Directoire Revival bustle dress, combining two of my favourite things: orange and plaid. Join me as I walk you through how I created this costume from the pattern through cutting, tailoring and lots and lot of hand sewing, to the final outfit
