Ingredients

For the Dough:
1 egg
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp pink salt
2 tbsp cooking oil
¼ cup milk
2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
1 tsp yeast
Warm water as needed
For the Chicken Filling:
1 cup chicken (boneless, chopped)
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 glass water (about 200 ml)
1 tbsp cooking oil (for gravy)
½ cup chopped onions
1 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
Reserved chicken water
1 tsp chili flakes
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
½ cup grated cheese


Method:

1. Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, mix egg, sugar, pink salt, and cooking oil well.
Add milk and mix until smooth.
Gradually add the flour and yeast.
Slowly add warm water little by little, kneading until you get a smooth, soft dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 10–15 minutes.

2. Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté briefly.
Add chicken, salt, white pepper, and black pepper. Sauté well.
Add a glass of water and boil the chicken until most of the water evaporates. Remove chicken and keep the remaining water aside.
In another pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and sauté chopped onions until translucent.
Add 1 tbsp flour and cook briefly to remove the raw taste.
Add the reserved chicken water and spices (chili flakes, salt, garlic powder). Stir and simmer.
Add the boiled chicken and mash lightly if needed. Mix well. Your chicken filling is ready.

3. Assemble the Bread:
Divide the dough into 2 portions.
Roll each portion into a flat circle or rectangle.
Place a portion of the chicken filling in the center and sprinkle cheese on top.
Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.

Place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–20 minutes, or until golden brown.

✅ Tip: Serve warm with ketchup or any sauce of your choice.
