After leaving Gibraltar, the dogs were absolutely wiped out and so was I.
We rolled into beautiful Tarifa, Spain, found a windy park up and called it a night, with zero energy left to explore.
But the following morning… wow. We woke to one of the most stunning beaches in southern Spain, calm, quiet and almost empty at first light.
A peaceful dog walk quickly turned into an unexpected skinny dip in the sea thanks to Herbie dropping his ball in the water.
Later that day, Tarifa came alive as the kite surfers took to the waves, and we wandered, relaxed, and soaked up the laid-back vibe that makes this place so special.
This stop slowed me right down and reminded me why van life in Spain is so magical. And just when things couldn’t get better… Part 2 is coming, because my twin sister arrives!
