The Lions Of Savuti

Several books and Nature programs dedicated only to lions have been made from Savuti, which mean mystery.

And for good reason. I heard and saw lions every day while I was there, and the place itself is magical

My self drive adventure, looking for lions was paying off bigtime despite my car still not being 100%

If you ever want to go somewhere to see lions in Africa, go to Savuti in Botswana. Apparently one of the prides there specializes in taking down elephants! I never got to see that for myself, but it is fascinating that a pride of lions manages to take down such a huge animal.

As for my lion photoproject, I got 3 more full front portraits I was happy with that I could stand for.

I needed that after several weeks by myself in the bush!
