Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well!

Here I am posting my video Nr. 136 (since 136 weeks without break) and very happy to make this very special video on April 1st.

Different of other productions that sometimes take almost one year, this one was made in a very short time during this week.
It is always the same thing: on Saturday, after I put a new video on line I ask myself: ok, what comes as next? Then I realized that the most beautiful month of the year was coming and this special day, the April 1st.

I only say this: I love this beautiful song and it means a lot to me. I had a lot of fun recording it. I tried to go far away from the original, that has no improvisation in it. I was trying some double time feel on drums, was intending to put some Bongos, but it did not work. And after all the that I had the idea of making not only the old 4 boring windows, but 8 windows showing you a lot of colors and life! I hope you like it.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE SONG: Exactly on November 4th 1989 at 11.11 pm in Rome (Italy), where I used to live during one year, I had the chance to listen to this beautiful ballad and know the beautiful music of this pianist and composer from South Africa ABDULLAH IBRAHIM, that changed later his name to DOLLAR BRAND.
I have been playing this song since years only for me, sometimes we play this song in my JAZZ WORKSHOP in Zurich (always in the 3. week of the month).

Well, this was only the beginning of the story, a story without end.

That year in Rome was a very special year for me and that's why I dedicate this video to Sabine Meier. I found some old drawings from that time and they are so beautiful that I decided to share with all of you.

I hope that with this video I can make some people happy.
When I see around, I find many unhappy people. We live in a turbulend time and we all need to be strong and together, looking for good and happy moments in our lives.
