Shore Fishing UK - Wirral Smooth Hound Fishing

A mid-week session by four members of the Mersey Specimen Sea Anglers (MSSA) looking for more smooth hound on the beach at New Brighton. We targetted a small tide going into darkness. It was not the most productive fishing session but a few smooth hounds were caught and an enjoyable time was had by all.

It was a fairly odd session with Rich and Jay catching fish at identical times on three occasions through the tide.

A combination of squid or peeler crabs were used for bait.
