Shore Fishing UK - Early Rock Channel Smooth Hounds

The smoothhounds have been fairly slow coming in this year. This video combines two smooth hound fishing sessions and includes Steve M with the first hound we have heard caught of the Mersey shore this year. It wont be long now before they arrive in numbers, the reels will be screaming and rods will be bending.

Please note the Rock channel is a potentially dangerous fishing mark with a risk of being cut off by the flooding tide. You should only fish this mark with anglers who have experience of it. No fish is worth drowning for!
