In this episode, I take my wife Abby to Kawasan Falls in Cebu for the very first time. The day didn’t start as smoothly as planned — the moment we began the 30-minute hike from the main road, the skies opened up and it started raining really hard. The muddy trail and heavy downpour made it challenging, but it only added to the adventure.

Despite the rain, the beauty of Kawasan Falls still shined through, and Abby had a great time experiencing one of Cebu’s most famous natural attractions. Luckily, the weather started to clear up, and the sun came out just in time for us to enjoy the falls in full color — bright, turquoise, and refreshing.

After a fun (and wet) day at the falls, we went to grab some food to recharge. One of the best parts of traveling around Cebu is finding those post-adventure meals that hit the spot after a long trek and swim. Nothing like ending a day of exploring with good food.

But the adventure didn’t stop there! The next day, I grilled up a fresh bangus (milkfish) and had Abby try it for the very first time. From the smoky aroma to the unique Filipino flavor, it was a completely new experience for her — and her reaction says it all.
