Amie -- fine, shes in her room

Nick -- [goes upstairs and into Leahs room] Jake?!

Jake -- [sitting on Leahs bed] hi Nick

Leah -- [laying on the bed] what are you doing here Nick?

Nick -- i came to give you these [gives her the flowers]

Leah -- pretty

Nick -- why is he here Leah?!

Jake -- i just came to check on her

Nick -- how did you know she was hurt?

Leah -- i called him

Jake -- she was going to come over, but i guess your not going to be going out much for a while

Leah -- yeah and right when vacation starts

Nick -- i thot it was just a sprain

Leah -- yeah well it hurts to walk on it

Nick -- Jake can i have a minute alone with Leah?

Jake -- fine [leaves]

Nick -- Leah please never go on the roof again

Leah - but Nick----

Nick -- what if you had broken your ankle! Or you leg!

Leah -- but i didnt

Nick -- but you could have!

Leah -- yeah but i didnt!

Nick -- never scare me like that again!

Leah -- im sorry Nick

Nick -- [hugs her]

Leah -- [hugs him back] but ill be okay in a week or two

Nick -- good [kisses her]

Leah -- [pulls away] im tired Nick

Nick -- then why dont you go to sleep and ill send Jake home

Leah -- why dont you like him?

Nick -- because hes a jerk!

Leah -- no hes not [rolls on her side, so her back is to him]

Nick - Leah-----

Leah -- im really tired Nick, and my arms hurt and my back and everything!

Nick -- i told you not to go on the roof

Leah -- and i told you too!

Nick -- i know..its all my fault

Leah -- no its not

Nick -- yeah it is, im really sorry Leah

Leah -- well if you carry me around on our dates i wont mind so much

Nick -- okay ill carry you [kisses her]

Leah -- [deepens it]

Nick -- [pulls away] just a couple weeks and then your better right?

Leah -- yeah

Nick -- good [kisses her]

Leah -- [pushes him away] oh no

Nick -- what?

Leah -- i havent got your Christmas present yet and its gonna be to late

Nick -- just get better, that will be a good enough present

Leah - Nick-----

Nick -- i just want you to get better [kisses her head]

LATER

Nick - [sitting on the couch watching xmas movies with Frankie] Frankie can we ----

Frankie -- no!

Nick -- youve already seen this movie a hundred times!

Frankie -- [holds onto the remote] its my tv time!

Nick -- fine

Joe -- [comes in] Mileys coming for Christmas right?

Nick -- yeah why?

Joe -- well Addi and Dani are coming too

Frankie -- really?

Joe -- yeah

Nick -- thats good...i guess

Frankie -- what did you get me for Christmas?

Nick -- none of your business!

Frankie -- its for me! it is my business!

Nick -- [rolls his eyes]

A COUPLE DAYS LATER

Joe -- [on the phone with Addi] so are you excited about tmrw?
Addi -- excited about seeing you, yes. About Christmas not so much

Joe -- why?

Addi -- i donno it just seems like a time for family and my family isnt here

Joe -- well your basically our family, you spend all the holidays with us

Addi -- yeah i guess i do

Joe -- and i got you something special

Addi -- i know

Joe - what! were you going thru my room again! Addi! It was supposed to be a su---

Addi -- i know because you already told me...like 9 times

Joe -- oh..

Addi -- [laughs]

Joe -- so what time are you coming over?

Addi -- i think around noon

Joe -- what! no we have to wait to open presents

Addi -- Joe your such a little kid sometimes

Joe -- i know

Addi -- well try and get there earlier

Joe -- good

WITH NICK

Nick -- [sitting on his bed with Miley] im sorry if this is getting annoying

Miley -- its not, i like spending time with you Nick..but i still want to meet your girlfriend

Nick -- well shes hurt..thanks to me

Miley -- what happened?

Nick -- she fell of the roof trying to help me

Miley - the roof? Why was she---

Nick -- its a long story

Miley -- oh

Nick -- maybe i should check on her..

Miley -- maybe

Nick -- [glances out his window and into Leahs, balls his hands into fists as he sees Jake pulling Leahs shirt over her head, and then kissing her]
