3 Killed by Elephant in Kandhamal! Wild Tusker Terror in Raikia & Tikabali | Odisha News

Описание: Panic has gripped the Raikia and Tikabali areas of Kandhamal after a wild tusker killed three people within 24 hours. The first tragic incident occurred on Friday evening in the Gumikia forest of Petapanga village. Three villagers—Dhaneshwar Pradhan, Kirtan Bagarti, and Bamadev Pradhan—had gone to the forest for work. While Dhaneshwar managed to escape, the elephant crushed Kirtan and Bamadev to death.
The terror continued on Saturday morning when another person was killed by the same elephant in Sindurgada village under Tikabali police station. Following these back-to-back attacks, the Phulbani DFO (Divisional Forest Officer) held a press conference to provide detailed information and safety instructions.
